Free visitor information is available at the following Visitor Information Centers.
Main Visitor Information The main Visitor Information Center is located in the historic New Hanover County Courthouse at 24 North Third Street, on the corner of Third and Princess Streets. Open Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm, Saturday 9:00am-4:00pm and Sunday 1:00-4:00pm. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Riverfront Booth The Riverfront Booth is located at the foot of Market Street at Water Street and operates on a seasonal schedule; April-May, 9:00am-4:30pm, June-August 9:30am-5:00pm, September-October 9:00am-4:30pm.
Wrightsville Beach Visitors Center The Wrightsville Beach Visitors Center is located at 305 W. Salisbury Street on Wrightsville Beach. Hours of operation are Monday - Wednesday 10:00am - 3:00pm, Thursday - Saturday 9:00am - 4:00pm and Sunday 10:00am - 2:00pm. Hours may vary depending on season. Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center The Pleasure Island (Carolina & Kure Beach) Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center is located at 1121 N. Lake Park Blvd. on Carolina Beach. Open Monday - Wednesday 9:00am-5:00pm, Thursday & Friday 9:00am-6:00pm, Saturday 9:00am-4:00pm and Sunday 10:00am-2:00pm. Seasonal hours to be announced.
